growing up in a home of privilege made life easy for her. that was until she found about her parents setting her up for an arranged marriage in order to help save her kingdom. this upset hazel majorly, so instead staying to grant her parents' wishes, she ran all the way to the small town of hawkins. there she found her love for gardening and flowers, which then turned into the career of her choice (also to help hide her identity from those around her). this worked out for a while until she found herself in a conflict. the need to marry in order to be broken from the family line.

she hadn't realized her parents had made her the heir of their profits, only marriage from outside of the kingdom could break it. she has yet to find the one that is willing to help her complete her final goal of being coming an ex-princess. for now, she lives out her dreams of being the best florist hawkins has seen. occasionally though, she is forced to take trips to see her parents in Eldorra (her kingdom). as much as she loves her kingdom and her parents, she doesn't really feel all that guilty for leaving them. she hopes to one day find her true love and live happy ever after.
